Spector Transferred to Prison

Convicted murder Phil Spector arrived Monday at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran, California, to start serving his 19 year jail sentence, according to reports, but don't feel sorry for him just yet.

Phil, the famous [and now bald] music producer is being housed in a special area of the prison with "special accommodations for older and disabled inmates."

Word has it that Spector is permitted to have musical instruments INSIDE and OUTSIDE his jail cell!

“The facility he is on now, there are a bunch of inmates that have instruments and they all play together on the exercise yard,” Stephen Smith, a spokesman for the prison, said.

There is even speculation that Phil's trying to get a TELEVISION put inside of his cell, too!

Spector’s gold-digging wife, Rachelle, claims that the prison is much better than where he was previously being held. “Anywhere is better than that place,” she said.

Like she would know?

I don't know about all of you, but I take a hard stance on what should be allowed and what shouldn't be allowed when people are incarcerated.

It doesn't extend only to Casey Anthony.

Phil Spector is a CONVICTED murder. He put a shotgun inside of Lana Clarkson's mouth and pulled the trigger in anger, I don't care what anybody else says. He's guilty.

Therefore, he should be allowed to have: Wigs, musical instruments or access to a television set.

He lost those luxuries when he was convicted. To even think he can sit inside of his jail cell and write songs makes me sick!

The only way he should be permitted to have an instrument, such as a guitar, inside his cell is if he's going to hang himself with the nylon strings.

It's ridiculous!
